Composting Class

Have you ever wanted to start a compost site? Or do you have a compost site and have qiuestions about taking care of it? The Henry County Library will be hosting a class presented by the Windsor Garden Club. This class will be held at the Lenora Blackmore Branch on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.

Get Ready To Smile!!!!!
New Internet Computer Rules
Effective April 8, 2012

Get ready to smile and say cheese! Patron pictures will now be attached to the patron record as new individuals fill out their applications and old patrons pose for their pictures. No longer will the HCL staff try to decipher if Lee, Pat, or Stacy is a guy or a gal, Mom, Dad, sister or cousin. With your picture attached to your record, no one will be able to misuse your card for access into the electronicmedia room.

Library patrons who decline having their picture taken may continue to use the library to check in and check out materials in the usual manner. The only privilege they forfeit is access to the internet computers.

The new rules will go into effect April 8th, which is also the beginning of National Library Week. The picture taking process will only take a few seconds and is totally painless.
